Too good to waste
“Too Good to Waste” was the slogan of a campaign we launched to reduce food waste at our Aachen canteen. For two months, we weighed any food left on trays.
Each week employees were told the total weight they had left behind and given some tips on how to reduce it.
Through this campaign we were able reduce the amount of food left on trays by 36%. Following the success of the initiative, the campaign will be repeated in 2015 in other company canteens, beginning with the Cologne office.
