During the Investor Day that took place on 30th January 2025, Generali launched the Group’s new three-year strategy Lifetime Partner 27: Driving Excellence.
 

Building on our strong foundations as a leading global Insurance and Asset Management player, we keep moving forward in pursuit of Excellence: excellence in our Ambition to be a Lifetime Partner to our more than 71 million customers worldwide; excellence in offering innovative solutions to meet evolving needs in a rapidly changing world, combining new technologies with our human touch; and excellence in our operations, to create value for all stakeholders.

We want to reaffirm our leadership in terms of profitability and growth, going even further to meet the evolving needs of our customers, doubling down on our AI & Data efforts, and maintaining our deep-rooted commitment to sustainability thanks to our People and network of 165,000 Advisors.

While the insurance industry is faced with unprecedented challenges, we also remain confident in our ability to capture the market opportunities ahead of us, always offering our customers new and even more customized protection models.

These opportunities are linked to major social and environmental needs – from an ageing population and insufficient public healthcare to extreme weather events due to climate change – as well as from ever-changing customer expectations, and market and technological shifts. It is an evolving environment that requires us to stay agile, innovative, and forward-thinking to lead and deliver lasting value.

Thanks to the successful delivery over the last three strategic cycles, Generali is now stronger than ever. After over-achieving against all the financial targets of the Lifetime Partner 24: Driving Growth plan, we are once again focused on delivering on even more ambitious targets.

The Lifetime Partner 27: Driving Excellence strategic plan sets out a clear vision for Generali in 2027. Our focus is clear: driving excellence in everything we do, building on three strategic priorities:

  • Excellence in customer relationships: enhance a seamless customer experience, innovative Group value propositions and strengthened distribution network
  • Excellence in core capabilities: accelerate growth in preferred profit pools, increase technical proficiency and scale Group-wide assets to enhance effectiveness
  • Excellence in our Group operating model: evolve Group operating model to provide distinctive competences, scalable services and productivity gains


Our plan will be enabled by the powerful combination of three strategic foundations:
