Next, the discussion shifted to addressing the impact of insurance in society with Danilo Raponi, Group Head of Innovation. Next, Carlo Augusto Mironici, CEO of Generali Engagement Solutions GmbH, explained how to achieve economies of scale with strategic synergies, illustrating Generali’s approach through a case study of the successful partnership with Vitality, a leading provider of health and wellbeing programmes designed to promote healthier lifestyles and preventive care.

Finally, Pierre Stalla Bourdilloun, Head of Group Business Development, Motor & Mobility, explained how the future of motor insurance is evolving amidst regulatory challenges in the EU and the need for seamless digitalization, with manufacturers increasingly adopting omni-channel strategies and embedded insurance solutions to enhance the purchasing experience.

Additional sessions saw interventions by Mattia Pizzolato, CTO at Generali Engagement Solutions GmbH; Simon Edwards, Head of Parametric Underwriting at Generali GC&C; and Kilian Massiah, Innovation Project Lead, House of Insurtech Switzerland.
