Responsible Investor

Green Empower: Climate at Work

Celine Vianes from Generali Investments Holding S.p.A. - French branch
I am a graduate of the Certificate in Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility from ESSEC. Aware that the digital sector is a significant carbon producer I am a staunch advocate of digital sobriety, topic on which I give a course at Dauphine University ; the digital pollution is immense and not well known: digital sobriety involves doing more with less through new design method. Convinced that people are crucial, I believe that the commitment of employee-citizens to ecological transition is a powerful lever that makes a difference.

I am actively involved in raising awareness and understanding of climate issues among employees. I am also a facilitator of the Climate Fresk and of the Digital Collage.

The Climate Fresk is an educational tool and workshop designed to increase awareness and understanding of climate change and its impacts.

The Digital Collage is a workshop to understand, as a team and in a fun way, the impact of digital technologies on the environment.

I’ve started animating both workshops some months ago into the Asset & Wealth Management Business Unit in several locations, firstly in Paris, then in Milan ; the feedbacks have been very positive. The concept now is to potentially extend it to the Asset & Wealth Management Business Unit and then to the Generali Group, where internal employees would be onboarded to take on the role of facilitators.

We are all affected by these environmental and societal changes. Today, I offer is to make my expertise in responsible digital practices, my sustainability skills, and my various qualities of perseverance, communication, and leadership available to your contribute to Generali's transformation as responsible investor for future generations, to save our planet and to preserve our humanity.
