No travel week

We launched a group-wide travel policy in late 2014 with two main objectives:
 

• to standardise the compensation paid to all employees who travel for work, across all countries where the group is present
• to further discourage work-related travel, also through added investments in remote communication tools.

To promote this goal, we introduced a No Travel Week initiative, under which all employees will work from their own office, without travelling, for one week each month, starting from February 2015.

This will cut annual distances travelled by 50 million kilometres, with a reduction of around 8,000 tonnes in carbon dioxide emissions.
