Econsense
In Germany we are members of Econsense, a sustainable development forum that brings together German businesses and organisations from various sectors to promote corporate social responsibility and investment in sustainable innovation, technologies, services and products.
The Forum has developed a series of supply chain principles known as the General Accepted Sustainable Supply Chain Principles (GASP), which we have incorporated into our purchasing processes by adding 30 questions to our supplier questionnaire, divided into 5 categories: governance, ecology, society, policies and management.
All our major suppliers must complete this qualification procedure, with the aim of ensuring that 60% of our spending is covered by these principles.
