Generali Real Estate’s One Fen Court complex in London wins AIA and Green Good Design Awards
The recognitions demonstrate the Group’s strong sustainable credentials and commitment to ensure environmental protection and sustainable development
We are happy to announce that One Fen Court, part of Generali Real Estate’s asset portfolio in London, has been confirmed as a winner in the "Professional Large Project" category of the prestigious 2020 Excellence in Design Awards hosted by the AIA UK Chapter and that its publicly-accessible roof garden, “The Garden at 120”, has also won the Green Good Design Awards.
AIA, the American Institute of Architects, has been a professional society of architects for over 150 years. Representing more than 80,000 members, it is the most influential voice for the architectural community in the United States.
Green Good Design’s aim is to bestow international recognition to individuals, companies, organizations, governments, and institutions - together with their products, services, programs, ideas, and concepts - that forward innovative thinking and inspire greater progress toward a more sustainable future.
Designed by Eric Parry Architects, One Fen Court is located in a prime location in the heart of the insurance district in the City of London. Its 15 storeys offer over 40,000 sqm of office and retail space, a public passageway through the building with 180 sqm digital LED ceiling to be used for art installations, and a prestigious restaurant on the 14th floor. The building is crowned by a public roof garden offering stunning views to Canary Wharf, St Paul's Cathedral and the Tower Bridge. One Fen Court complies with strict environmental sustainability requirements, and it is designed to achieve the BREEAM ‘excellent’ certification.
