The cross-cutting role of the artist in the society
Civil society moves inside urban space building a deep interaction with it, made of mutual influences and conditioning. The artists draw inspiration from this daily representation and turn the surroundings into their work room. As observers they try to understand the logical structure behind this interaction, as medium they give the audience a reinterpretation that challenges it to open its perception of it. The documentarist Sonja Lillebæk Christensen and the photographer Jeanette Land Schou explain how this important relationship is communicated through their art.
