Poker and chess as a metaphor
How life imitates chess is the title of a famous book by Garry Kasparov, probably the greatest chess player ever. Together with poker, chess is an effective metaphor for our daily actions, inexorably linked to strategic choices, no matter if big or small ones, and to risk management.
