BIG Dear Friends
When I was recruited, I was little more than a young girl. I have grown and become a better person thanks to the PEOPLE I have met along the way.
During the last, very difficult year that we left behind what I missed most was just that: human contact!
Morning coffee, lunch breaks, chats, confidences, stories... they were my daily nourishment, the charge that allowed me to face the work days with enthusiasm and energy.
Allowing me to work from home during the months of the pandemic was a great gift from Generali to all its employees, giving us confidence and security at a time when we really needed it.
But this separated us from the PEOPLE.

And I have met many people in those 25 years, but there are some who have been with me from day one and continue to be an integral part of my life.
Simona, Anna and Eva
We are four friends. "GREAT DEAR FRIENDS" is the name of our whatsApp chat, which in this hellish year has helped us to stay close.
Life has gone through us and the four of us have gone through it together.
Our friendship has grown along with us.
Our history is part of the history of Generali.
INA ASSITALIA, INA VITA, Generali Italia, GENERALI: The names of the companies have changed, the businesses in which we have worked have changed.
What has never changed but has grown and strengthened over time is the bond that unites us. Career paths have divided us but not driven us apart.
Together we have multiplied the joys and divided the sorrows.
We know we can count on each other.

GRANDI Amiche Care
Ho 53 anni e ne ho passati 25 – quasi la metà – lavorando nel gruppo Generali. Una Vita!
Quando sono stata assunta ero poco più di una ragazzina. Sono diventata grande e una persona migliore grazie alle PERSONE che ho incontrato lungo questo cammino.
Durante l’ultimo, difficilissimo anno che ci siamo lasciati alle spalle quello che mi è mancato di più è stato proprio questo: il contatto umano!
Il caffè della mattina, la pausa pranzo, le chiacchiere, le confidenze, i racconti… erano il mio nutrimento quotidiano, la carica che mi permetteva di affrontare le giornate lavorative con entusiasmo ed energia.
Poter lavorare da casa durante i mesi della pandemia è stato un grande regalo che Generali ha fatto a tutti suoi dipendenti, donando fiducia e sicurezza in un momento in cui ce ne era davvero bisogno.
Ma questo ci ha separato dalle PERSONE.

E di persone ne ho incontrate tante in questi 25 anni, ma ve ne sono alcune che ci sono state fin dal primo giorno e continuano a essere un punto fermo della mia vita.

Siamo quattro amiche. “GRANDI Amiche care” è il nome della nostra chat su whatsApp, che in questo anno infernale ci ha aiutato a stare vicine.
La vita ci ha attraversato e noi quattro l’abbiamo attraversata insieme.
La nostra amicizia è cresciuta insieme a noi.
La nostra storia fa parte della storia di Generali.
INA ASSITALIA, INA VITA, Generali Italia, GENERALI: i nomi delle Società sono cambiati, le aree aziendali in cui abbiamo lavorato sono cambiate.
Quello che non è mai cambiato, ma che è cresciuto e si è rafforzato nel tempo è il legame che ci unisce. I percorsi di carriera ci hanno diviso ma non allontanato.
Insieme abbiamo moltiplicato le gioie e diviso i dolori.
Sappiamo di poter contare una sull’altra.

La foto di copertina ci ritrae sul terrazzo di Via Bissolati a Roma, ne abbiamo scattate tante di foto su quel terrazzo e non vedo l’ora di scattare la prossima.
