The doors of palazzo Berlam open to reveal Generali's historical Archive, whose new home was inaugurated in the renovated premises of this historic building to mark the 190th anniversary of the Company's foundation.
From Franz Kafka’s personal file, with his job application and original curriculum, to Umberto Nobile’s papers for his 1928 historic scientific expedition to the North Pole and space insurance for the United States and China in the last decades of the 20th century. These are just some of the documents kept in the Archive, which contains a unique heritage of experiences, life stories and business initiatives linked to the values of innovation, the ability to respond to challenges, internationalism and corporate responsibility that have always been part of Generali's DNA and have enabled the Group to become one of the most important players on the international stage.
