Generali, the gift that life has given me
It was my dream to become a trainer! I sent my CV the next day. I will never forget that day because it was my birthday. Generali was the gift that life gave me at the age of 45!
Now, almost 9 years after that day, I can say to anyone and at any time: yes, I love my job!
I love my work because along the way I have met people I had to learn from, and some of them are still role models in my life. At Generali, we learned that there is no such thing as "no way". Anything is possible if you have people around you who support you, who challenge you to push your limits, to be better every day and to give not only what you know but also what you are! I bow gratefully to all my colleagues with whom I discover new things every day.
I love my job because I am confronted every day with new situations that challenge my creativity, flexibility and interpersonal skills. At Generali I reinvent myself every day! No two days are alike, no two courses are alike.
I love my job because I have the freedom to assert myself and show my knowledge, my potential and the passion with which I usually do things. Here I feel what it means to love what you do, to not know when time is passing. And I have also learnt that no matter what you have to do, if you put your heart and soul into it, everything will be easier.
I love my job because I don't need to be motivated by others and I can easily motivate myself through the challenges of each day. One of the biggest challenges was when I decided to start running. In the last 3 years I have done over 30 races of at least 10km and 2 years ago I did my first half marathon. In October this year I will do a second one. And maybe next year my first marathon!
I love my job because change has become the only certainty in my life. To work at Generali, I left the province and moved to Bucharest to rent a flat. This meant a long-distance marriage. Together with my husband, we took the risk of seeing each other every few weeks. We had more than 20 years of marriage behind us and I can say that the distance managed to intensify the spark of love between us. Distance had a magical effect on our relationship. I've learnt that trust is a building that each of us has to put brick by brick.
The most beautiful thing in life is to love what you do and then you can say: life is beautiful! And at Generali it really is!
My story at Generali Romania started on an autumn evening in 2012. A friend of mine called me and told me that there were 3 coaching positions at Generali and that if I still wanted to be a coach, I should send my CV.

Povestea mea in Generali Romania a inceput intr-o seara de toamna a anului 2012.
A doua zi am trimis CV-ul.
In octombrie, anul acesta, va fi al doilea. Si poate la anul, primul maraton! J
