Manlio Lostuzzi

Manlio Lostuzzi has been appointed CEE Regional Officer and CEO of Generali CEE Holding on September 1^st, 2022. From the Prague regional office, he oversees the insurance activities of nine Generali companies with almost 11 million customers and 7,400 exclusive agents, placing Generali as the third insurance Group in the Central-Eastern Europe region. 

Between January 2023 and May 2024, he contributed extensively to the success of Generali International, as a newly created business unit integrating all insurance activities in Asia, CEE and Med&Latam companies.

With over 35 years of experience, Lostuzzi joined Assicurazioni Generali in 1986 and has covered a variety of managerial roles within the Group.
In 2003, Lostuzzi became the Head of the technical and reinsurance area of the Generali Group and, in 2011, he assumed the position of Deputy general manager of Generali in Italy with responsibility for the agency network.

Two years later, Manlio Lostuzzi was appointed to Chief Insurance Officer of Generali Italia and, after one year in 2014, Lostuzzi became CEO of Genertel and GenertelLife - the companies operating in bancassurance and direct channel businesses.

Lately, in 2019 Lostuzzi has been appointed CEO of Generali Global Corporate & Commercial till 2022.

Passionate Chess master and judo athlete, Manlio Lostuzzi graduated in Statistics, Actuarial and Economic Sciences from the Università degli Studi di Trieste.
