The Countdown to the Generali SME EnterPRIZE event is on: ready to discover the Sustainability Heroes?

The ceremony to present the 7 European companies that can be Ambassadors of Sustainability and inspire other fellow entrepreneurs will be held on 28 September.

The wait is almost over: the SME EnterPRIZE event “SMEs: Drivers of Sustainable Economic Recovery and Growth in Europe” will take place on 28 September from 5.30 pm in Brussels and will recognize 7 Sustainability Heroes from Austria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, and Spain.

The companies are small and medium-sized enterprises which, according to a Scientific Committee of international prominent experts in the field, have been able to best interpret sustainability, giving the leading role in their business and integrating it into their everyday life.

The event will also be an opportunity to present the White Paper "Fostering Sustainability in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises" - developed by SDA Bocconi School of Management and promoted by Generali - which provides an analysis of the strategic approaches to sustainability implemented by European SMEs, with special emphasis on obstacles that could limit the adoption of sustainability strategies and on the benefits of integrating sustainable models for SMEs.

Leading representatives of the European arena will take part in the event, including the European Commissioner for Economy Paolo Gentiloni, the Chairman of Assicurazioni Generali Gabriele Galateri di Genola, and the Group CEO Philippe Donnet, as well as other prominent representatives of European institutions.

Everyone is welcome to attend the event: in person, after registering via the dedicated form (but with limited access due to Covid-19) or online thanks to live streaming both on the sme-enterprize.com website and on the LinkedIn profile of Generali.

The agenda of the event includes a conference and panel discussion from 5:30 to 6:30 pm followed by the award ceremony of the Sustainability Heroes.
