A beautiful human adventure

This year, I am celebrating my 30th anniversary at Generali, almost a whole professional life and even more than that.
Birth and support of the cgpi market, teamwork, sharing of very strong moments, commitment to THSN, partner trips (Lion arround the word) or even a marathon under Generali's colors ... all good moments, a very beautiful life experience.

But I have a special memory that touches me and reflects the values we share at Generali.

A few years ago, the head of an accounting department was experiencing a family tragedy, and was completely jeopardizing his professional future, or even more.
As you know, the accounting function is very far from the commercial function, that's little to say.
Not to mention that it was a character :)

And yet, with the support of our hierarchy, we were able to give him a new horizon, a new chance, integrate him into our sales team, train him, make him move, develop, restore his confidence and entrust him with a sector and a portfolio to develop.
With time, work, will and a common commitment it has proven to be a real success, for him, for us, for Generali.

What other company, what other management, what other hierarchy would have allowed and even supported such an unlikely transformation? would have made it possible?

For me, this experience is the most beautiful realisation of our shared values and it is the human and professional event that has marked me the most and that concretises our shared values.

Une belle aventure humaine

Ça y est, je fête cette année mes 30 ans chez Generali ,presque toute une vie professionnelle et même plus que ça.
Naissance et accompagnement du marché des cgpi, travail en  équipe, partage de moments très forts, engagement auprès de THSN,voyages partenaires ( Lion arround the word ) ou même marathon sous les couleurs de Generali ...que de bons moments, une très belle expérience de vie.

Mais j'ai un souvenir particulier qui me touche et reflète les valeurs que nous partageons chez Generali.

Il y a quelques années, le responsable d'un service de comptabilité vivait un drame familial, et remettait complètement en jeu son avenir professionnel, voir plus.
Vous le savez la fonction comptable est très éloignée de la fonction commerciale, c'est peu de le dire.
Sans parler qu'il s'agissait d'un personnage :)

Et pourtant soutenu par notre hiérarchie nous avons pu lui donner un autre horizon, une nouvelle chance, l'intégrer à notre équipe commerciale, le former , le faire déménager , évoluer, lui redonner confiance et lui confier un secteur et portefeuille à développer.
Avec le temps , du travail , de la volonté et un engagement commun ça c'est révélé  être un  véritable succès, pour lui, pour nous, pour Generali.

Quelle autre entreprise,management, hiérarchie aurait permis et même soutenu une telle reconversion improbable ? l'aurait rendu possible pour en faire un succès?

Cette expérience est pour moi la plus belle concrétisation de nos valeurs partagées et c'est l'événement humain, professionnel qui m'a le plus marqué et qui concrétise nos valeurs partagées .
