Presentation of lists for Banca Generali Board of Directors and Board of Statutory Auditors

Trieste - Assicurazioni Generali today filed the lists for the renewal of the Board of Directors and the Board of Statutory Auditors for the three-year period 2012-2014 at Banca Generali, in preparation for the Annual General Meeting called for 24 and 26 April 2012.

Assicurazioni Generali, with a view to ensuring the continuity and valorization of internal talents, is proposing for the post of Bank Chairman Giorgio Angelo Girelli, who has managed the Bank as CEO since 2000; for the role of CEO it is proposing Piermario Motta, General Manager since 2005. The Generali Group CEO, Giovanni Perissinotto, who accompanied the growth of the Bank as its Chairman since 2002, will remain as a director. The proposed candidacies aim to recognize a successful management approach that has enabled Banca Generali to become a leading player in the Personal Financial Services industry in Italy.

The candidates on the lists have been selected on the basis of outstanding competence and professionalism in line with the size and business model of the Bank.
